LTS session 1* June 3- June 13, 2025 - Summer 2025

The Learn-to-Swim program focuses on building skills one step at a time. By giving them the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next, our kids' swim classes make it easy to build confidence in the water.  

Parent and Child Aquatics: infants and toddlers from 6 months to approximately 3 years of age ¦

Ages 3 to 5 - Preschool Aquatics and Pre-School  Advance

Ages 5 & up - Level 1: Basic Beginner: Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it.

Ages 7 & up - Level 2: Intermediate : Children will learn basic swimming skills and strokes.

Deep water entry level - Level 3: Advanced: Learns swim strokes and deep water introduction.

DEEP WATER - Must be able to swim in the deep end of the pool Level 4: Stroke Improvement: Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills.

Level 5: Stroke Refinement: Guidance allows kids to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers.

The summer swim lesson sessions consists of 8 individual classes held over a 2 week period. Tuesday-Friday

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Not sure what swim level you are on?: We can test your Childs swimming ability on the first day to make sure they are starting in the correct swim level.
  • What if I miss a class?: We will let you make up that class day in the next following swim session. EXAMPLE: (If you miss day 2, you can make up day 2 in the next swim session on day 2 of that session)
  • Can we wear swim goggles?: Yes, you can wear swim goggles that only cover the eyes. We Do NOT allow full face mask, or swim goggles that cover the nose or mouth.
  • Swim Lesson's and Drownings: Swim Lesson's will not provide "drown proofing" for children of any age. They will help you understand how to be safe in, out, and around water.
  • What is the Pool Address?: 110 Randy Snow Court Terrell, Texas 75160 Pool is located inside Ben Gill Park Close landmarks are the Football Stadium, Brookshire's, Chamber of Commerce and Tiger Ice
  • What days are swim lessons on?: Swim lessons are Tuesday thru Friday for 2 weeks.
  • What time are lessons offered?: Swim lesson are offered in the morning times from 9am - 9:30am, 9:45 - 10:15am, 10:30am - 11:00am and in the evening from 6pm - 6:30pm. 6:45 - 7:15pm, 7:30pm - 8pm
  • How Long are swim lesson?: A Typical swim lesson is 30 minutes long
  • What to bring?: Be ready in your swim suit at the start of class time. Bring a towel. Bring a water Bottle. Bring extra clothes to change into after class if preferred.
  • Do Parents/Guardians swim too?: In the Parent/child(tot) class, parents are expected to participate in the water with their child. In Pre-K we sometimes ask parents to help/participate in class for assistants with their child
  • Food or Outside Drinks?: No Food or outside drinks are allowed in the pool area. Please only bring bottled water to help reduce Ants and other animals on our decks.
  • Do I sign up for multiple sessions?: What is the intent of your swim lesson? Summer vacation? Being safe around water? Swim Team Ready? All these are factures in making decisions on sign-ups for swim lessons
  • Why is my child in the same level?: Not everyone learns at the same level. While some swimmers may move up quickly from level to level, some swimmers have a real fear of water and It comes at their pace, not ours
  • Fear of water?: Fear of water is real, just as fear of heights, snakes, etc. Fear sometimes take a little while to overcome. Please be patient with your child as they continue to grow
